Biography
Dr. Michael J. Macksood, DO, is a board-certified urologist who has dedicated his career to the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the urinary tract and the male reproductive system. For over 40 years he has cared for patients throughout the Flint community, building a practice grounded in experience, clear communication and respect for each patient's individual needs.
He earned his medical degree from the Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his surgical and urology residency training in Michigan. Dr. Macksood is a member of the American College of Surgeons and maintains a hospital affiliation with Hurley Medical Center in Flint.

An electronic medical record system brings together your history, physical exam, imaging, lab results and procedure data so that a clear, comprehensive consultation summary is available โ often uploaded to your patient portal before you leave the office, with a copy sent the same day to your referring physician.
